I finally gave up on being able to comfortably wear my engagement and wedding rings again any time soon. Since being pregnant and having Paul (who's now 2), they are just tight enough to make me panic a little when I try to take them off and that means they've stayed in the jewelry box. I decided to make a "dress" for my 2 year old son (who happens to love Disney princesses). I took some of the flashiest, finest fabrics in my stash and created this fabulous tunic fit for a prince. It has striped puffy sleeves (reminiscent of Snow White) and has a shield on the front with a very royal purple satin "P" (for Paul) surrounded by four lovely princesses swirling with golden threads.

We took our first plane trip with our 16 month old son, Paul this past weekend. The weather didn't cooperate the whole time but we had fun anyway. I've been thinking a lot about the color navy blue. I used to wear a lot of it in college but then gravitated towards black. I think navy will make a big comeback.
